ABOUT PONTE

We Don't Start With a Visa. We Start With Your Case.

Ponte, Global Mobility helps families, professionals and investors move to Portugal and Spain, and stay settled once they arrive. From your first visa application to AIMA appointments, tax registration and renewals, we manage the strategy as your situation evolves.

OUR STORY

Who We Are

Ponte, Global Mobility (trading as Ponte Legal Services) is an immigration and business law firm based in Lisbon, Portugal, founded in 2026 by Sérgio Bonifácio de Araújo and Caterina Utili.

We work across two destination countries, Portugal and Spain, helping people relocate through visas, residence permits and citizenship, and helping them build the practical life that follows: opening a bank account, registering with Finanças, renewing a permit, applying for citizenship years later.

Moving to Europe rarely starts with a clear answer. It starts with a set of circumstances, work, family, timeline, income, that need to be understood before any visa route makes sense. That's the starting point for every case we take on.

SERVICES

What We Do

Portugal Visas

D7 Passive Income Visa, D8 Digital Nomad Visa, D1 Work Visa, D2 Entrepreneur Visa, Golden Visa (ARI), Family Reunification, Job Seeker Visa, CPLP Visa.

A route matched to your income, work situation and timeline, not the first one you find online.

Portuguese Citizenship

By descent, by marriage, by residence, and birthright citizenship.

Eligibility assessed against your actual family and residence history, with documentation planned from the start.

Spain Visas

Digital Nomad Visa, Non-Lucrative Visa, Family Reunification, Job Seeker Visa.

The same case-first approach applied to Spain, for clients choosing Spain instead of, or alongside, Portugal.

Spanish Citizenship

By marriage, by origin, by residency, and for Ibero-American nationals.

Guidance through routes that vary significantly by nationality and family history.

Portugal Relocation

NIF, bank account opening, lease contract review, rental support, NHR guidance.

Support with the administrative steps that follow a successful application, not just the application itself.

Company Formation Portugal

Business setup and structuring for founders relocating or expanding to Portugal.

A legal structure suited to how the business will actually operate.

Permanent Residence Portugal

Renewals and upgrades from temporary to permanent status.

Continuity from the same firm that handled the original application.

WHY PONTE

What Sets Us Apart

Flat, Published Pricing

Our fees for each visa and residence route are published, not quoted case by case. You know the cost before you commit.

Transparent Family Pricing

Additional family members on the same case pay reduced, published rates: 50% off for adults and 65% off for minors on the D7, D8, Spain Non-Lucrative and Spain Digital Nomad visas. No separate negotiation for a partner or child.

A Dual-Jurisdiction, Dual-Qualified Lawyer

Sérgio Bonifácio de Araújo is registered with both the Portuguese and Brazilian Bar Associations. Legal structuring that accounts for more than one country's rules where that's relevant to your case.

Support Beyond the Visa

We stay involved through AIMA appointments, tax registration and renewals, not just the initial filing. One point of contact for the parts of relocation that happen after approval.

A Response Within 24 Business Hours

Every quote request gets a clear answer inside one business day.

A Referral Discount

Clients referred by an existing client receive 10% off, recognising the trust of a personal recommendation.
